Annie Argento

LEED AP, WELL AP, FITWEL AMBASSADOR

  • Annie Argento brings nearly 20 years of high-level experience in the green building industry to her role as principal at Argento/Graham. Since co-founding the firm in 2015, she has established Argento/Graham as a marquee consultant for top residential, commercial, and industrial green building projects in the Los Angeles area and across the U.S.

    Before starting Argento/Graham, Annie was responsible for developing new business as a principal at Gaia, where she supervised expansion into markets such as San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, and led a team responsible for dozens of LEED certifications. From 2007-2012, she was the Regional Director for Brightworks Sustainability Advisors’ Los Angeles office, spearheading the firm’s successful entry into the competitive Southern California market.

    Annie frequently teaches workshops on LEED and green building strategies, and in 2013 she helped found the Los Angeles “Women in Green” quarterly speaker series event. She served on the Board of Directors of the USGBC Los Angeles Chapter from 2006 to 2011 and as Board Treasurer and Executive Committee member from 2009 to 2011. Annie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.

Duke Graham

PE, CBCP

  • A licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California, Duke Graham has nearly two decades of experienced leadership in the green building field. As principal at Argento/Graham, he directs all commissioning and energy-related services for the firm’s diverse array of projects. Working closely with owners, design teams, and contractors to optimize building design and performance, Duke leverages strategies that offer the greatest cost-effective benefit for energy use and carbon reduction.

    Prior to co-founding Argento/Graham, Duke commissioned a large portfolio of projects as head of a team of engineers including industrial facilities, medical office buildings, commercial office buildings, tenant improvements, and multifamily residential projects. He has commissioned projects for clients such as Related, Google, Eataly, and Universal Music Group.

    Duke holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego. Duke is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers.

Katie Matthews

LEED AP, FITWEL AMBASSADOR

  • Katie Matthews joined the Argento/Graham team in September 2016. As Project Manager, her experience includes supporting the team on various projects spanning multi-family housing, hotels, warehouses, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities. She comes to A/G with a background in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado. Prior to joining A/G, Katie studied sustainable housing strategies and helped to implement an energy-saving pilot program for low-income communities in Colorado. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant with undergraduate students at CU Boulder, to facilitate, design, and apply low-cost green infrastructure practices into local neighborhoods.

    Since her time at A/G, Katie has developed an extensive knowledge of the LEED v4 and v4.1 rating systems, enabling her to assist design and construction teams in achieving their project sustainability goals. She holds LEED professional accreditation in Building Design and Construction and Interior Design and Construction for LEED v4. Katie is also Fitwel certified.

Erin Sanchez

  • Erin Sanchez joined Argento/Graham in September 2021. As an Assistant Project Manager, Erin supports the team on a variety of LEED and Fitwel projects, including multi-family, office, and industrial. Erin comes to A/G with a background in biological sciences and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver. She holds LEED professional accreditation in Building Design and Construction for LEED v4.

Gayaneh Giragol

  • Gayaneh Giragol embarked on her career with Argento/Graham in June 2022, where she holds the role of Project Manager. As a Project Manager, Gayaneh channels her educational and professional background to support the project team across a variety of LEED and Fitwel initiatives, which encompass the multi-family residences, office spaces, warehouse and industrial sectors. Gayaneh comes to A/G with a background in project management and sustainability. She deepened her passion for sustainable systems at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, where she earned a Masters of Engineering Science in Sustainable Systems. Gayaneh carries a LEED professional accreditation in Building Design and Construction for LEED v4 as well as Interior Design and Construction for LEED v4, along with Fitwel Ambassador, TRUE ADVISOR, and ActiveScore AP credentials.

Ali Karim-Lee

LEED AP, EIT

  • Ali Karim-Lee joined the Argento/Graham team in November 2021. As Project Engineer, he supports energy services from energy modeling to commissioning. He comes to A/G with a background in Mechanical Engineering and a master of applied science in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Canada. Ali is registered as an engineer-in-training (EIT) with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia and he holds LEED AP credential in Building Design and Construction. He served as a member of the Green Building Corps program of USGBC Los Angeles Chapter from 2020 to 2021.

Denise Braun Ryan

LEED AP, WELL AP, FITWEL AMBASSADOR, TRUE ADVISOR

  • Denise joined Argento/Graham as a consultant in 2016. In more than twenty years of sustainability industry experience in Brazil and the United States, she has participated in over a hundred LEED-certified projects.

    Principal and Founder of All About Waste, Denise has developed and analyzed technical waste management solutions for various enterprises: residential, commercial, stadiums, banks, offices, shopping centers, warehouses, hospitals, and hotels. She is proficient at implementing strategies for construction documentation and sustainable purchasing, in addition to best management practices incorporating tenant guidelines and building management tools and plans. Denise holds LEED and WELL accredited professional designations, is a Fitwel Ambassador, an Envision Sustainability Professional, and a TRUE Advisor.

Hollis Linehan

LEED AP

  • Principal of Linehan Group specializing in energy analysis for LEED and energy code compliance, Hollis started working with Argento/Graham in January of 2021. In the first two years of working together Hollis has provided sustainability consulting and energy modeling on over 20 million square feet of projects across the US. He has over 35 years of experience in the application of building mechanical and electrical systems in the build-environment including over two decades of experience supporting LEED projects.

    Prior to starting Linehan Group he had worked for national engineering firms in a senior leadership position in the areas of mechanical & electrical engineering and oversight including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy management and building automation, energy code compliance, energy modeling, lighting, power distribution, security, and data systems on projects across the US and internationally. To better focus on his passion for sustainability in the build-environment, in 2020 Hollis founded Linehan Group.

Toi Everhart

  • Toi joined Argento/Graham as a consultant in February 2022. Toi is a seasoned business thinker with a passion for project management, problem solving, data-driven insights, organizational transformation and building strong relationships within the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.

    Toi works as a consultant in creating systems and designing processes that have allowed organizations focused on climate change, healthcare, technology, finance and energy to do their best work and thrive. Toi has her MBA in Entrepreneurial & Small Business Operations from California Lutheran University.
