Thanks to a joint commitment to sustainability efforts, Pacific Pointe East – Lot D has earned LEED Silver from the USGBC. Developed by Sares-Regis Group and constructed by Millie and Severson, the project team was able to divert 96% of waste construction and demolition waste from landfills. Sustainability/LEED Consultant Argento Graham was an integral member of reaching this significant milestone, identifying opportunities for sustainable efforts as well as tracking and documenting achievements along the way. The project consists of three eye-catching industrial warehouses comprising 521,021 sf that were recently completed in Douglas Park. “Specific highlights include the use of no potable water for irrigation, energy savings of over 50%, diverting over 96% of construction and demolition waste from landfills, and providing natural daylight throughout a majority of the project,” noted Bobby Almeida of Argento Graham. Pacific Pointe East Lot D continues Sares-Regis Group’s commitment to green buildings and sustainability, which includes more than 10 LEED Certified buildings in the Douglas Park area alone. Summing it up nicely was Sares-Regis Group’s Bob Klaewtanong, saying “We care. It’s part of who we are.”
